Our 25+ years of experience in PCB design and
manufacturing across a myriad of end markets will help us to serve
you with your specific interconnection challenges. Within the
Commercial Markets, Coretec focuses its consultative, CAD design,
manufacturing and Offshore sourcing capabilities on five sectors:
Computer, Communications, Medical, Industrial and IC Test.
Computer
Coretec has always played a key role for product developers in the
computer sector. Coretec has significant experience with the design
and fabrication of PCBs for applications such as graphics cards,
power supplies, single board computers, memory modules, high-end
computing and storage, peripherals, rugged-ized computers and
internet infrastructure.
Communications
Coretec’s advanced product offering is in sync with the needs of
this demanding sector, particularly as relates to high speed and RF
requirements. Our HDI/microvia capability, exotic materials
expertise, and world-class design consulting services are key for
those applications that call for finer, more tightly controlled
geometries and dielectric engineering. In regards to RF
requirements, our appreciation of design for manufacturability and
repeatability is key to our success in the wireless arena.
Medical Instrumentation
A significant portion of Coretec’s revenues emanate from those
sectors defined as high reliability – defense and aerospace; heavy
industrial and medical. Our experiences in the latter sector are
specific to diagnostic instruments as opposed to “in-body” devices.
Our expertise with regards to exotic materials including polyimide
for flex and rigid flex combined with our design for
manufacturability and durability ethos have served our clients well
in this sector.
Industrial Instrumentation
Coretec’s account base includes many electrical transmission, heavy
industrial, test and monitoring instrument, automation tool and
oil/gas equipment manufacturers. Ample experiences with exotic
materials, heavy copper and other rugged design characteristics make
Coretec a must-have partner for the development and provision of
PCBs for this exciting sector.
IC Test
PCB designs for this sector are characterized as being constructed
with exotic materials as well as having high layer counts, elevated
thicknesses, high aspect ratios, fine features and specialized
surface finishes. Coretec’s current capabilities profile and
technology roadmap address many of the challenges posed by this
demanding sector.
Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS)
Greater than 50%” of Coretec’s business emanates from EMS
clients. This concentration is expected to increase as a result
of the ongoing outsourcing dynamic within the electronics
industry as well as our ability to leverage existing and new EMS
relationships for additional market share gains. Our ability to
provide a broad range of PCB technologies, world-class
approvals, value added services and sophisticated logistics
combined with our meaningful scale across multiple facilities
has allowed many of our existing EMS partners to “one stop shop”
for their interconnection requirements. We enjoy preferred
status with many global and regional EMS partners as a result.
