Each FAE has a full mobile set of software tools (Valor Enterprise, Cimnet Engenix ST, Applied
Simulations Technology RLGC 2D Field Solver) allowing them to run design for manufacturability
(DFM) checks on your design regardless of the stage of design completion. The Engineering Rules
Files (ERF) that are specific to each Coretec facility as well as Coretec Asia, are available
to the FAE. Our proprietary Core-Stack™ software will also output a DFM-friendly layer stack.
Additionally our FAE staff have tools at their avail for design guidance, panelization optimization,
yield assessment, cost estimation as well as
Via and Solder Mask Design
The solder mask design, with respect to the vias, can dramatically effect the reliability and manufacturability of the PWBA. This document discusses the pros and cons of the various options.
Sample DFM Report
The FAE is able to run a DFM on your leading edge designs, from the office or at the customer site and review on-site or through Web-X applications.
Sample Stackup (CoreStack™)
The configuration files and available materials database specific to each Coretec facility as well as Coretec Asia are updated daily for the FAE.
Sample RoHS Report
Coretec’s Toronto and Denver operations are compliant with The Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive.
Hole Calculator
Calculate the actual drill size that will be used in manufacturing and ensure that your design meets minimum annular ring, pad size and aspect ratio.
BGA Pitch Calculator
Calculate the actual drill size that will be used in manufacturing and ensure that your design meets minimum annular ring, pad size and aspect ratio.
